This award goes to the cooperative organization which has shown through its policies and projects the greatest socially responsible practices. The panel of judges will be seeking concrete examples of Cooperative Social Responsibility (CSR) projects or initiatives that have had sustainable impact on the people or communities it is geared towards. The award is aimed at cooperatives that goes beyond philanthropic use of funds, to using their overall knowledge, resources and reputation to improve the lives of people in the society based on the coop principles of Concern for Community andethical values of caring for others
